Benny Hwang

Benny is from Seoul, Korea. At GW, he is a junior at the Elliot School of International Affairs, studying international affairs. This is Benny’s third year that he has been affiliated with the SGA. Throughout Benny's time with the SGA, most of his roles were related to community and government relations. 

A fun fact about Benny is that he once had more than four different types of pets!

What made Benny join SGA?:

"I decided to join the SGA because I love public service and showing compassion for our community. Of many mission statements I read for the SGA, I related the most to the first sentence on SGA’s social media page. “Our mission is you.” As the statement reads, I am always eager to learn more about every community and voice that collectively makes GW home the student body shares."
