The Student Advocate’s Office (SAO) has officially been established by executive order within the Student Government Association. This independent office will provide casework services to students facing conduct proceedings, academic integrity matters, and broader grievances with University policies or operations. In addition to direct support, the SAO will analyze trends in student concerns to propose policy reforms. Led by a Student Advocate and three deputies, the office will focus on academic affairs, conduct and safety, and student grievances. This will fill a longstanding gap in consistent student support, building on models from peer institutions and past SGA initiatives.
