MULTICULTURAL STUDENT SERVICES CENTER

The MSSC facilitates student leadership development and provides academic support, diversity training, and cultural programming. They welcome students to explore, embrace and share their diverse identities and experiences.

SERVICE LEARNING &CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

Whether through a service fraternity, academic program, or short-term service trip, we help to bring your passion to real-world actions.

FRATERNITIES

Through chapters within the Interfraternity Council, the Panhellenic Association, the Multicultural Greek Council,  Greek life at GW is all about friendship, leadership, scholarship, community service, philanthropy, and brotherhood/sisterhood that compliment your classroom experience.

ATHLETICS & RECREATION

Passionate about sports? GW athletes have won more than 100 team championships in 18 different sports. We also have more than 50 club and intramural sports you can join. Pro tip: You’ll love playing on the National Mall.

VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS

From a capella and dance to the spoken word and the GW Band, you have choices in how you want to channel your creativity. Support the student arts community by attending a theater company's show, and don't forget to attend the fierce Battle of the A Capella.

MILITARY AND
VETERANS

GW offers a number of student organizations designed to provide support and build community among veterans and military-affiliated students through advocacy, social activities, professional networking, learning opportunities, and other programming. 

INTERNATIONAL
STUDENTS

Every year, students from more than 135 countries come together to study at GW. We support international students throughout their GW experience, from providing legal services, to connecting them with their international students community.
